BenMarco Sin Límites Malbec de Valle de Pedernal
BenMarco Sin Límites expresses our efforts to discover the most interesting combinations of soil and climate, where there are no limits to exploration, to reveal wines with unique identity and personality.
Pedernal Valley is a new wine paradise located in the Andes mountains. The young vineyards reach elevations of up to 1,500 m.a.s.l. (4,920 ft.), with mixed colluvial and alluvial soils originally formed by glacial deposits.
BenMarco Sin Límites Pedernal is an herbal, spicy Malbec, with a very fragrant nose of thyme, coriander and lavender. It is silky, with a soft and beautiful texture and a persistent aftertaste.
This wine is a great option to enjoy paired with roasted, grilled or sautéed preparations, cured and cold meats like salami and Prosciutto, poultry meats, soft cheeses, nuts and seeds.
Why did we choose Valle de Pedernal?
Valle de Pedernal is a very special IG for me, since I didn’t know anything about it until I had the opportunity of planting the region’s first vineyards. Malbecs from this terroirs are very particular, with notes of wild herbs, intense color and edgy tannins. The decision of planting in such high altitude where there used to be absolutely nothing and even today there is still no water is a clear example of our intention to explore beyond the established boundaries.
