BenMarco Cabernet Franc de Paraje Altamira

BenMarco is a tribute to our unique and diverse terroirs at the foothills of the Andes mountain range. Through minimal intervention winemaking, we maintain the pure expression of each variety and its place of origin.

BenMarco Cabernet Franc is made with grapes sourced from Paraje Altamira, Valle de Uco, at 1,150 m.a.s.l. (3,780 ft.) The calcareous soils, and the warm days and cool nights allow the grapes to develop ripe but fresh flavors, maintaining a good acidity and structure.

This Cabernet Franc offers clean and austere aromas, with notes of spices and dry grass, a slightly earthy character and a subtle vegetable trace.

This wine is a great option to enjoy paired with game meat, baby goat, venison and duck. Dishes with earthy and rustic flavors such as Portobello mushrooms, black olives and grilled red peppers.

Why did we choose Paraje Altamira?
Edy Del Popolo

Paraje Altamira is a warm spot in Valle de Uco and this characteristic allows Cabernet Franc to develop fantastically, since it’s a grape that in colder weather conditions might have a delay in its growth. This is the reason why we choose this great terroir to cultivate the grapes that give origin to our BenMarco Cabernet Franc
