BenMarco Pinot Noir de Los Chacayes

BenMarco is a tribute to our unique and diverse terroirs at the foothills of the Andes mountain range. Through minimal intervention winemaking, we maintain the pure expression of each variety and its place of origin.

BenMarco Pinot Noir is made with grapes sourced from Los Chacayes, Valle de Uco, at 1,100 m.a.s.l. (3,600 ft.). Its sandy loam soil with gravels guarantees good permeability limits the growth of the plant and ensures perfect ripening.

Co-fermented with a small batch of Viognier, this Pinot Noir displays aromas of wild strawberries and oregano, flavors of ripe red fruit, with good body and round tannins.

This wine is a great option to enjoy paired with red and white meats or hard cheeses.

Why did we choose Los Chacayes?
Edy Del Popolo

Los Chacayes is a fantastic region which personally thrills me. Because of its climate, it could be labeled as Gualtallary’s younger sibling. Its particular weather conditions and its colluvial soils allows us to get good and ripe Malbecs with distinctive characteristics that reflects Los Chacayes’ landscape.
